John K. Washington

Chief Financial Officer

John K. Washington is the Chief Financial Officer of Preston One, LP; also President and Chief Executive Officer of the J. Washington Company, an accounting firm in McKinney, Texas.

Mr. Washington has considerable expertise in the world of finance; including corporate debt and equity finance, asset management, multi-entity capital structuring, taxation, capital formation and traditional accounting services. Along with the resources of J. Washington Company, he has served as Controller or Chief Financial Officer of several other companies. Mr. Washington has created a system that provides a more cost effective solution of services and proficiencies to companies that do not have an “in-house” Controller or CFO. In addition to these traditional services, he has extensive experience in tax resolution and financial reorganization for Clients when difficulties arise.

Mr. Washington has 25 years experience in developing, investing and managing real estate. He has been responsible for the financing and job cost for over 200 interim loans. This included managing the time line for the building cash draw requests from the bank and working capital management.

Mr. Washington has provided his financial skills and capabilities to prominent firms such as Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, Hibernia National Bank, Morgan Stanley, US Unwired, Inc., Deloitte & Touche and many others; helping clients and/or shareholders achieve their goals. Mr. Washington specializes in working with small start-up companies in need of cash flow and working capital management. Additionally, he has served on the advisory board of the International Business College. Mr. Washington has been recognized for his successes by The National Republican Congressional Committee’s Business Advisory Council, which voted him as the 2003 Businessman of the Year. Mr. Washington holds a BBA in Accounting and is an Enrolled Agent with the IRS.
